About

22 year old back at home in the Midlands following a degree in Communications amongst the dark and satanic mills of the north west. Wide range of interests including (a lot of) sport, politics, transport, photography, writing and music. I like to consume the world's tragically baffling media across a wide range of topics and throw my opinions at it. You know how they say mud sticks? Well sadly my mud's not very interesting, so it usually falls off...

Light Matter is exactly what it says on the tin - the opposite of Dark Matter. Being that you can only find the latter in deep space and the Large Hadron Collider (or any given collider, other brands are available) and since the majority of that stuff is barely understandable even with Professor Brian Cox translating for us knuckle-dragging neanderthals, I'm fairly loathe to discuss it here. So this is everything that isn't doing weird shit to the universe or indeed slowly attracting through the layers of earth an assortment of objects usually associated with Switzerland... Toblerones and that.

I've had a website for a long time now but I've finally abandoned the concept of my name being splashed so openly over the interstellar websuperhighway thing and adopted an airy, casual and highly pretentious identity under which to post the same rubbish I've been talking on the web for the last seven years. The reason? People that give you money for completing tasks related to the ongoing success of their business tend not to take well to their employees being all high and mighty on the web. Not that there'll be anything work related here anyway...

A usual meld of witless banter and dramatic paragraphs will be interspersed with a usual meld of opinionated bullshit and cocky judgements. In a perfect world I'd be writing award winning blogs every day across a huge field of subjects. The likelihood is a couple of posts per month will find their way on to Light Matter, and considering how controversial and ironic I like to think I am, don't be surprised if all I talk about is Scattered Electromagnetic Radiation causing Dark Matter. I am that cool.

Cheers,
Dave
